Overview

Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1091, by Brenda. The establishment of Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê's construction back out of the project. Brenda pushed on reguardles, and Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Êkèkê G̈cës-sovê is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious baked earthen mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Unfortuantly, these timber-based walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

The city shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim.
